A winter morning

 

A cold and foggy morning in the winter season is named as a winter morning. It is usually different from an everyday morning of other seasons. There is dense fog everywhere. Sometimes the fog is so dense that the sun rays cannot reach the earth through it. As a result, things can hardly be seen even at a little distance. Everything looks hazy. There is a biting cold everywhere. The chirping of birds in the morning is not heard. Birds and animals cannot come out. People in general and children get up late. Poor villagers make fire to warm themselves. When the rays of the morning sun peep and fall on the grasses, it looks like glittering pearls. The old and the poor bask in the sun to warm themselves. Everyone is busy in taking breakfast, dressing and getting ready to go to their working places. Some people make delicious and sweet cakes, payes with date juice and many other things. The foggy scene of winter morning vanishes as the day advances. The sun goes up and the nature returns to a normal day. Though a winter morning is enjoyable to the rich, it brings distress to the poor for want of warm cloth.

                                   Dialogue

A dialogue between you and your friend named Liton about the importance of tree plantation.

 

 

Myself:  Hello, friend, good morning.

Liton: Good morning. How are you?

Myself:  I am fine by the grace of Allah. What about you?

Liton: I am also fine.

Myself: Where are you going now, my friend?

Liton: I am going to the nursery.

Myself: Nursery! But why?

Liton: To buy sapling.

Myself: What will you do with the sapling?

Liton: To plant them.

Myself: Please explain.

Liton: Trees are the most important element of our environment. It supplies oxygen and receives

carbon dioxide that we always leave.

Myself: What more?

Liton: Tree keeps our ecological balance, protects river erosion, provides sheds to our beasts and birds.

Myself: Does it play any role of filling the demand of food?

Liton: Sure. It supplies us with all kinds of food we eat.

Myself: I agree with you. But I see something more than oxygen and food.

Liton: What are those?

Myself: Furniture, fuel and medicine. All these are the part and parcel of our daily life.

Dear students,

Hope you are well and  have done the home work completely. Now I am giving you  another paragraph on "Traffic Jam".

Traffic Jam

Traffic Jam is a long queue of vehicles on a road that cannot move or can move very slowly. It is a common affair in the big cities and towns. It is a great problem in our country. There are many causes of it. The main cause of this problem is the narrowness of roads and the large number of vehicles. Our vehicles have increased but our roads have not increased. The unlicensed vehicles are increasing day by day. The drivers have little knowledge about traffic rules. The number of traffic police is insufficient. Parking here and there and overtaking tendency are also the causes of it. It brings a great suffering to us. It kills our valuable time. We cannot reach school, college, office and hospital in time. However, the problem should be solved as soon as possible. The number of roads should be increased. Sufficient traffic police should be posted on important points. Traffic rules should be imposed strictly. Unlicensed vehicles should be removed. Drivers should be conscious about traffic rules and regulations. And only then people living in cities and towns can hope to lead a smooth life.

 N.B.After taking preparation of the lesson, you must write it in your exercise book and just after opening the school I will look over your writing.

Truly speaking, time has come to take the responsibility of doing your respective duties by yourselves without direct supervision of the teacher because of corona pandemic. I strongly believe that you are engaged deeply in study to cut a good figure in the J.S.C. examination. However, today I am giving you a paragraph on “A road accident"

   A road accident

Road accident is  an unexpected incident happened on the road.It is a common phenomenon now a days in our country.In the morning when we open the newspaper, a good number of news of road accidents appear before our eyes.There are many causes of road accidents.Bangladesh is a poor country.We have no sufficient roads and high ways.Most of our roads are narrow.As a result many vehicles cannot move at a time. Reckless driving is another cause for it.The drivers are not well trained and they are not habituated to abide by the traffic rules.Hundreds of people are losing their lives due to road accidents.There are many people who become injured and crippled.No one cannot say which vehicle will reach its destination safely.When we go to road,we find the fight of the drivers.It seems that they are given licence to do whatever they like.Some drivers drive vehicles being drunk and fail to control of the vehicles. However people want safety."Safe Road" is the demand of the people.We don't want to see others lamenting for losing their near and dear ones.The authority concerned should also come forward to take steps to control it.
